A Quick Points High

I’m in San Francisco for work this week and tonight is my 12th and FINAL night of the Hyatt Diamond Challenge. No trip reviews to share–pretty standard (though pricey), experiences at Hyatt House Emeryville and Hyatt Place San Jose. I’ve been all over the Bay Area this week and am pretty sick of being stuck in traffic. As is typical during business travel though, I’ve eaten so well, and by well I mean delicious, not healthy. Lots of seafood and sweets and the best crispy brussels sprouts I’ve ever had!

Anyway, lots happening in the points world this week, and in case you’ve missed any of it on Twitter or other blogs, here’s a quick recap:

Potential to get rental car company top tier status if you have a World Elite Mastercard. Also appears to be a possibility that you can get a free weekend rental by signing up for Avis First. Planning to try it for the Villain and will report back!

Cheap Costco memberships on Living Social$55 membership for new members includes $20 gift card, apple pie, rotisserie chicken and 30 rolls of TP.
